What’s On Locally, is an easy to use, one stop shop of what’s on in Surrey, borders and main events a bit further afield. With other counties coming soon
Surrey have over 2,000 events happening EVERY WEEK across the county. These exclude attractions and regular happenings in the area, so lots to do!
These include a variety of events, including festivals of all types; events / attractions at pubs; fairs / fetes; performances; craft, food, drink, music events; courses & training events; exhibitions; sporting events; fundraising events; virtual events and many more.
The Team Behind What’s On Locally
The WhatsOnLocally website was founded out of frustration from experienced event organiser Steve Page, who just wanted to promote his events in one easy place, that would showcase over multiple platforms. One where you don’t have to have social media accounts and one that advertises for you on multiple platforms with just one listing.
Steve was also frustrated that he personally had to look at many social media pages, magazines and multiple website listings to get a very basic overview of what was on in his area for the weekend ahead. Wanting a listings site that covered everything! Family events, evening out with friends and for couples, ideas and ‘something different’ all in one place. Hence the WhatsOnLocally was born.
What’s on Locally, are also connected to and work alongside three other very collaborative and support organisations:
Coverage
This guide has started out and concentrates in the Surrey and borders area, with a plan to grow to Hampshire, Sussex, Berkshire and Kent, in due course.
The structured growth into other areas will be supported each time with new supporting media partners in those counties and through social media.
