Art from Nature

Taking a gentle walk around our beautiful estate, Sarah will help you develop a heightened visual response to your surroundings by focussing on the details of nature

On our walk we will be collecting small objects such as twigs, feathers and grass, and experimenting with weaving and binding objects together to create constructed textile hangings to take home.

Each outcome will be uniquely personal and dependent on the direct response to the conditions on the day. We will aim to be outside for part of the morning before we gather with our findings in the barn, so appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear are strongly recommended.
