Mychael Barratt PPRE is a painter and printmaker whose work is packed with witty storytelling, historical references, and intricate detail. A collector favourite, Mychael is known for his popular Artists Dogs and Cats series, which reimagines legendary artists alongside their fictional companions in their signature styles. His maps and cityscapes, often centred on London, chart historical moments and artistic movements with playful precision. Originally from Toronto, Barratt has lived and worked in the UK since 1984. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, he is a Fellow and former President of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers.
