Ghostly Encounters: A Filmmaking Workshop
Bring history to life in this unique film making workshop inspired by the hit BBC sitcom Ghosts. Filmed right here at West Horsley Place, this 600-year-old manor house will be the setting for your own historical scenes, blending comedy, drama, and storytelling.
The session will be led by industry professionals, BAFTA-nominated filmmaker, Josh Alward, and actress and director with 20+ years’ experience in theatre, film, and voiceover, Eilidh McCormick.
In small groups, you’ll explore storyboarding, filming, and camera techniques, using the atmospheric rooms and hidden corners of the house as your backdrop. There will also be opportunities to step in front of the camera if you’d like to try some acting! The day will end with a special screening of your finished scenes.
