Playtime Fun! Moving Pictures!

Drop-in, suitable for ages 5+

Before films and video games, there were optical toys. Join us and make your own optical toy – a moving image thaumatrope, just like the one in our Playtime! exhibition. You’ll also be able to play with a zoetrope, another optical toy.
What will you include on your toy? A car, a dog, a rocket, a unicorn… the choices are endless!
