Sketch Club

A sociable and friendly course for all abilities led by artist Jane Allison. During the five week course we will aim to fill a sketchbook with drawings and paintings inspired by the beautiful interiors and exteriors of West Horsley Place and its lovely gardens – weather permitting! Students will be encouraged to use different approaches and taught how to use different mediums in order to create a visual diary of 5 Thursdays in May spent in a unique and historic environment.

Students will need to bring their own A5 watercolour sketchbook and basic drawing materials eg. a pencil and a rubber. There will be a selection of other art materials available for people to experiment with, but students will also be welcome to bring their own if they have them.
