The Comedy of Errors

Strap yourself in for Shakespeare’s ultimate rollercoaster of comedy chaos, as two sets of identical twins arrive in the same town, on the same day, completely unaware of the other’s existence! The Comedy of Errors is a glorious confection of confusion and slapstick comedy, as wives, debtors, officers, friends and even the twins themselves are caught up in the mayhem which ensues.

It’s performed by an incredible cast, cleverly intertwining the action, as they simultaneously perform The Comedy of Errors on the main stage, and a brand new partner play A Company of Rascals in promenade around the theatre, inside and out.

Celebrate the finale of our refurbishment project, and the Arnaud’s 60th anniversary year, in this great partnership with our friends, Guildford Shakespeare Company in two productions directed by our Director & Chief Executive, Joanna Read.
